Literature Text

I thought of you
as his rough fingers
wandered lustily
upon my bare skin
sending shivers
down my spine

Unlike yours
they were unafraid
willing to locate
the devil deep within
daring to break through
the waters
to discover a truer me

I thought of you
as I peered
down into the depths
of his calcite eyes
the greenest i'd ever seen
they whispered back
visions of a tortured past

Unlike yours
they peered at me
and only me,
without a questionable
look of disgust,
but with a beautiful
genuine smile
despite the others
who've hurt so deep

I thought of you
as his lips
led mine in a secret,
diabolical sort of magic
lased with an innocent,
sort of bliss,
which threatened
to change time and knowledge

Unlike yours,
there was no hint
of sadness
lurking close behind
hidden by anger
and anguish
and false alliances
his lips couldn't lie,
not like you and your false hope
always could

I thought of you,
but now you are distant
you've become a vanishing cloud
on a hot day,
and if you never return
I'd be just fine
because
unlike you,
he is there for me
not everyone else

I like it all the way up to the ending.  I really want it to have something more....not sure what though.
